Lucky bugger, mine will be arriving early April.

The closer it gets, the longer the days drag on!

Okay guys, so I finally remembered I have a home to go to and work to do tomorrow!

The M4 is my first M car. My last two BMWs were an E92 335i, heavily modified, had 301rwkw, and my little baby, an M235i.

I got BSM because I think it looks great on the F82. If it was a weekend car, I would've got YMB!

I hope to see you around soon. Maybe we can have an F8X meet some time.

Congrats - I actually thought you were going to get an M2... as you kept it a secret.

Your first ///M - me too - just love it. I've done about 2,000km, as I drove back from Melbourne and it's the only car that after the honeymoon, it's still amazing.

Looks like you have some spacers on your wheels - do you and if so, what size are they?

Thanks mate.
No, M2 just didn't do it for me.

No spacers! That's how I picked it up this arvo from the stealers!

As I was showing it to a friend. He got in the drivers seat while the car was idling. Planted his food on the accelerator and revved it to red fucking line for good three seconds! I was speechless, nearly had a heart attack! Could that have done any damage to the engine?

I think I understand now why most M car owners don't have friends, or was that a rumour?! LOL

redline just standing still ? Wow - I don't think that you could do that in the 335 (with DCT).
I doubt that you could / would have damaged anything at all.
These things seem to be built a lot stronger than the 335's.

have you seen this guy and what he said about reliability?

Yeah, it was standing still.

Not sure if it's only in my head, but I noticed the car got a bit louder after that!

Yeah, I watched that video before.

Thanks mate.

It's a common misconception that you "have too" keep the car below a certain rpm for the first few thousand kms -

Drive it like it's meant to be driven.

So, is it brand new?
I can't get over the difference in the gap between the wheels and the arches.
Perhaps its because its a 2016, and mine's only a 2014 build.
I wonder if it has factory spacers?

Yeah it's 1 day old

Yeah 2016 LCI. They probably listened to people's feedback!
