Nope, there are 4 fasteners on the bottom to undo before you can release the tabs that hold the OEM diffuser in. Once out the M Performance one will clip into place and replace the 4 fasteners in the bottom.

You need a guinea pig car? I'm 2 blocks away from your old stomping ground at A&L where you've done suspension work on my e36, e46, e90, and e82. My M2 is on the boat and will be on U.S. soil in 4 days. Well in front of the April 16 launch which I'll have to wait for.
