M2 437M vs M4 437M wheels

Just curious, are the 437M's the same exact offsets as the wheels on the M4 version? I know the tire sizes are a little less (245/265 vs 255/275)....

Yes the wheels are exactly the same. 10mm narrower tires were used to prevent rubbing per BMW (I remember reading somewhere)

I am sure that with the same tires, BMW was worried that the M2 would out perform the M4 in too many situations

No to point out the obvious but wider tires would also give the m2 more traction hence making it less tossible... spoiling part of its fun

Another likely dumb question, is the TPMS part for the M2 the same as M4?

OEM tire sizes on any BMW is never ever going to be within 10 mm of rubbing.
You can comfortably switch to M4 tire sizes without any worries at all.

Its odd the M2 tech document seems to indicate the M2 wheels are iron and different offsets from the M4 even tho the same style. Is that just a bad publication?
