Fuel it Stg-2 install with pics

Hey guys I got a stg2 fuel it low pressure fuel pump. It seems to be working great, I did some pulls on E40. No codes and its quiet like stock. I replaced my stock one because I was getting some codes for low fuel pressure.

I have a few pics from the install. It's pretty similar to the E9x install but its a little different. I couldn't find any on the F30 or any other F series.

I used a 13mm socket with penetration fluid to get the ring off.

Then there is fuel connection on the top, there is a double tab you have to remove.

Then pull the pump out and have a towel or something as I did have some fuel come out. You have to wiggle it out as the bottom part is offset. Once it starts coming out you will see one electrical connection and one fuel line connection inside the tank. The one on the bottom (inside tank) you have to press a tab then turn.

Big thanks to Steve from fuel-it and Mike from X-PH!

Nice, glad it's working better for you. Did you do the install and how long did it take you?

yea I did it myself.

Probably about 20-30 minute of actual work. One of the hardest things was getting the seat belts to pull through the holes in the seat.

it flows 50% more than stock. I was having issues with my stock pump so it was a good time time to upgrade. Eventually I am going to get a pure stg2.

Also this pump is actually rated for ethanol and stock one isn't.
