Attach rear floor mats?

Hi,

Just purchased floor mats for my BMW F30 that is made out of textile.
In the front the mats have the OEM velcro.

The rear mats however has no attachment. This isn't a problem with the heavy rubber mats, they don't move. But the lightweight textile floor mats will not stay put.

What do you recommend to attach these?

I have found VW fasteners:
https://www.ecstuning.com/News/VW_Au..._Kit/ES337204/
https://www.ecstuning.com/News/VW_Au...s_Kit/ES11473/

Will this work on the F30? Are you able to screw in the floor mats to attach these?

And do you guys know where I can purchase these parts in Europe? Cannot find them on eBay, only on ecstuning which charges $50 for shipping to Sweden.

Thank you!

You shouldn't need to attach them?

They are pretty snug against the seat rails, they are in mine anyway.

Yeap, you don't need them, they won't go any where.

They are not genuine, have not tried them yet. But I had this problem in my E46, rear mats (textile, not rubber) would not stay in place.

I have kids in the back of mine daily and can tell you that the rear floor mats move all over the place. Drives me nuts and have been looking for a way to hold them in place.

If the underside of the mat is textile too then get your self some velcro stickers, tap two hook sided ones together (glue side to glue side), and put that on the floor and mat on top. Should do the trick.

If it's rubber on underside, then use the velcro tap as normal.

I tried that with heel pads on the front rugs.

The Velcro doesn't want to "grab" the rug. I'm using the hook side.

Are there different sizes of Velcro, because it might grab if the "hook" part was longer and could better grab the rug fibers.
