Getting a bit bored with the car-what to do next?

So I've had the car for about a year an 3 months. Ive done plenty of mods, although all of them basically aesthetic. I have an exhaust and intake. So apart from a tune, what else could I do?

In this order, LSD, Brakes (maybe), Suspension, Tune.

After all, why have all that power and no ability to properly apply it.

I was thinking of maybe throwing either the catted or catless down pipe on the car. I'm already dreading the install though lol

Catless DP for sure, just had mine installed a couple days ago, and it's loud and awesome with my aftermarket exhaust. Don't forget to grab a tune and ER CP to clear CEL and prevent CP from breaking from boost.

If you have RWD 335i, it's easy installation for the DP, xDrive is a bit more complicated, so I brought mine to a garage and they installed it for me, took an hour and 45.

Springs or coilovers depending if you have EDC.

I'm strongly considering the DP. I just wonder how loud it'll be with my meisterschaft

Oh ok, yeah mine is RWD. I'm sure I could try it myself with some rhino ramps

A whole year AND 3 months?? You should have sold your car twice in that time. Easily, maybe even 4. 2-3 months and the flip that lease.

Not a lease, but I do wonder how long most members on here keep their car

Learn to be satisfied with a little boredom. That's not a bad thing and it will frequently keep you out of trouble and save you money.

I'm in my seventh year with my 2006 E90 330i and I'm still not bored with it. The new LCI 340i M Sport has given me a little itch lately.....Melbourne Red with Saddle.

Yeah, RWD is easier to install yourself, xDrive, not so much.

It'll be twice as loud and more race-car like when pedal to the floor, I had a couple people follow me just to hear my exhaust and burble on the downshifts

Lots of from other enthusiasts for the past 3 days since it's been installed.

Why don't you get a tune? Seems like that would have been much higher up on the list. For me, first was coding and then right to JB4. Not sure why you would go intake and exhaust and not be doing a tune at the same time. As chaungo said, DP gives great sound, but it also compliments the tune. And then you will need a CP.

Well I'm nearing 100K in mileage and I haven't read about many people with that mileage in the F30 platform with a tune. Just wanna play it safe. If I wasn't so high I would've grabbed the Jb4 and down pipe right away haha

100k miles = 160,000KM

Holy crap that's alot.

I'm almost at 50k miles (80,000KM) and I'm about to get a tune+CP installed later.
