Congrats on the purchase. After you post the records we can better asses the state your car might be in. If the major items like turbos, valve cover, OFHG, and injectors have been addressed then you're good. At 100k, some of those are likely still outstanding but I would expect the turbos to be replaced at least.

Congratulations!
Get an extended warranty, like Route 66, or keep and few grands handy for when you may need it. Do you have any history on the vehicle? at 100K its likely most big ticket items have been addressed, that said mine didnt have anything major till 110K. Now its back running like a champ! @116K now |

Just picked up the car today and did a fresh oil change. Having trouble uploading the service records but basically gaskets are replaced, top valve cover, camshaft and oil housing. Water pump and tstat was changed at 65000. Belt looks okay although I didn't see it any record of it being changed. Steering shaft was changed can't remember mileage. Vanos solenoid replaced and other regular maintenance done by dealer and private auto shop. Car was bough brand new st 6 miles and was one owner. Bought it from her at 99000 for 7500. Clean title but had a few collisions. Seller told me no major damage and only cosmetic. She got all the work done and kept the info. Basically fender bumper hood was replaced. The car looks good now and drives good. Turbo crackles nice what do you guys think

sweet ride...yeah, it sounds like all your big ticket items have been taken care of...Water pump every 70-80,000 for peace of mind...(mine lasted til 109,000....is that a new record?)
Keep an eye on your oil pan gasket..... apart from regular maintenance, you should be good to go for a while! JP |

Thanks.. And no not literally it sounds like a whistle. Not that great of a mechanic but I do a lot of research. So far I'm happy with the car wouldn't mind putting a few thousand into it I think I got it for a steal
