gas mileage on a 340

I'm curious what kind of gas mileage other 340 drivers are getting. I drive both highway and city daily and find myself averaging anywhere from 18-21 mpg. I will say that I do drive regularly 75-90mph with some over 90 spirited sport+ moments. even when I try and feather the gas and keep my gears in optimal positions, I still average just over 21mpg. I have a 6mt and again do drive on the harder side.

I've read that some people have averaged much higher mpg's and I find myself asking how is that possible unless you drive 60-65 all the time and never Rev high...very easy acceleration. so then I ask myself how do you manage to control yourself with this easy, fun to drive car where you don't even feel the speed it's so smooth.

even that's impressive to me bc only once have I been over 22mpg. I had just filled up and had to drive a while on the highway. I managed to get over 24 mpg only to have it come down to 21mpg over the course of the rest of the fuel tank. I reset the mpg everytime I fill up.

I just hit 6000 miles too. granted I have a brand new engine but even before the engine swap I was averaging the same

I'm averaging about 12.5 L / 100km. This is about 90% city driving, stop and go traffic. I expected a bit better.

I think my mpg is due to me doing a lot of highway miles. otherwise, i will probably be at 15-18mpg... hahaha

I'm more in line with your mpg. I've tried doing better but 21-22 is the best I can do and that's driving as easy as I can. like others on here that's 80% roads and 20% highway

I'm going to hit 3,000 kms soon, I do both city/hwy driving pretty evenly and I'm getting 9.35L/100km based on my fill ups so far (~25 MPG). And this is in cold weather, I think it'll get better in the summer... given I don't drive like a mad man with the nice warm weather

I did get 6.1L/100km (38.56 MPG) on a 41km trip in ECO PRO once... majority of it was ~80km/hr but I still think it's really impressive. I think I read somewhere that the B58 is most efficient at ~80km/hr so I wanted to test that out

6mt with about 75% completely flat highway using eco pro when traffic is light. Car will arrive in New England soon and in a mostly non flat non highway environment I expect the mileage to take a beating.

so I guess that eco pro setting actually helps. I noticed it does dull the acceleration down immensely. although I gotta say....driving a 6mt on eco pro is a pain in the ass. I think I've tried it twice and hated it

I have a 340ix 6MT and am averaging 20-21 mpg combined. I do about 80% highway in Sport and 20% city in Comfort.

Kind of surprising... Not much better mpg than on the F80 M3. Better than my E92 M3 6MT though which gave me 15-16 mpg combined.
