2009 335i sedan, is it good DD???
Hello,
I got new job and my commute is 60 miles round trip, I fill gas tank every weekend and sounds like 335i is expensive on gas for Daily driving, should I buy used SUV for DD and keep 335i for weekend driving? if yes, what make/model used SUV I should look for? |

lol you're worried about paying for gas but are willing to buy a whole other car just for the week?
Gas is dirt cheap now man, just drive the 335. Not like an SUV going to get that much better mileage and certainly wont be as fun. |

Not trolling, and I am considering SUV because it is better in snow and other conditions, my commute 60 miles is like stop and go and speed drops to 10 to 15 miles, so 335i eats more gas. make sense?

the 335 isn't bad on fuel, my commute was always 21.3 (mostly city, little highway), and when I get a new air filter, it will start to kiss 22. Highway was 33 when it was new, seems to only get 30.x today. I have never DD'd it for say even 6 mos. as it's our 3rd car, but I did DD it the last two weeks when my Nissan was out of service. This keeps it really enjoyable when I do drive it.
