Help find a hole passing wire to underneath the car

Hey guys

I'm customizing exhaust for my E92 335i.

I need find a hole passing a wire to the muffler section of the car from inside of the cabin or trunk.

I did some search but can't find one.

Is there anyone can tell where I can find such hole?

Thanks alot.

Drill a hole in the plastic boot in the trunk. Get a rubber grommet from the hardware store.

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

He is talking about the lower storage area under neath the lift up access panel. The material of this storage container is plastic and can be easily drilled.

Yeah... I know, but I'm trying to find an existing hole so I can pass a wire to the exhaust muffler from the trunk or from cabin floor.

I guess you chose to ignore this advice? Of course there won't be an existing hole the truck is sealed from the elements. You will have to make your own then buy a matching rubber pass through grommet.
