Active Autowerks is getting a E90 M3 soon.......

When I was in South Motors BMW yesterday I met a gentleman who worked for Active Autowerks here in Miami. He told me that active is purchasing a E90 M3 to start the mods i.e. software, exhaust, supercharger, ect......

Just thought you guys would like to know.

Not sure, they will develop a SC system first before they go on to turbos that may require some internal engine modification. The SC system will be a roots type charger.

That is correct and one of the advantages of having a huge area between the V's of the V8, so to speak. An integrated intercooler will also probably be part of the SC package!

Horse Power Freaks are gonna build a TT system. They have one in development for the E39 M5. It is probably 2 years out.

That's still way out! Musselman Turbo Systems will have something out by this summer.

problem is, twin-screw blowers tend to loose their efficiency at such high rpms... but they have tons of torque down low!!!

a good twinscrew system with an integrated intercooler boosting 8lbs of boost through most of the rpm would be awesome for this car.... kind of like the supercharged KLEEMANN Benzos...

Twin screw is the best type S/C, am very familiar with Kleemann and have done a lot of work with them. That Kleemann SC with only 0.5 Bar is a beast on the stock 363 hp C55 AMG engine, the dyno with full Kleemann mods (i.e, twin screw SC, cams, ECU, headers/downpipes and exhaust) would yield 530 hp and similar lbs/ft torque that started from 2,000 RPM. A wild ride!!!! Plus no noise (like OE SC AMG's).
