Can't say I agree with the firing since she was on vacation.

BUT... Some districts have specific "character clauses" that apply even off campus outside of work. I could see if she had done porn.

And before you say "where were the teachers like that when I was in school"? Yep I agree. For me too. BUT... In my boys school now... There are several very attractive and hot teachers! Pretty amazing actually.

I don't see a problem with it, but if you sign a contract agreeing to such clauses then that is on her.

Asinine decision unless we are missing other facts. I'm sure if she coached a revenue generating sport, she wouldn't be touched.

She was doing nothing illegal and was on vacation. If she was on shcool grounds or there on school business that's different.

I hope she sues.

reality is teachers are people besides just teachers... yeah, maybe poor judgement because everything is "big brother" today, but not conduct worthy of termination. not like she was in a relationship and was a ped or on drugs.... just hammered on a vacation showing her good stuff. $#@! I never had cool teachers like that.

Either way, I think people who deal with influencing children should hold themselves in a higher regard and have better moral and ethical judgement.
