how to tell the difference between a G4 and a G5 JB4?

looking to buy a used JB4 for a 2012 N55 E92 335i Harness B off the forums but how do I know if its a G4 or G5 board, idk what a G4 looks like and what a G5 looks like? If you have pictures could you please post, I already tried searching for the difference. I'm looking to get a G5 board.

No such thing as N55 G5, that's only N54. The only difference would be Harness A or Harness B for N55. Some may have the ISO mod done to them which means they modified the board to run ISO firmware.

Yeah I believe all the N55 JB4s were shipped as G5 boards. Only difference between G5 boards would be the cut diode and updated software to make it ISO. Terry from BMS said they will soon be shipping all new N55 JB4s as ISO.

what exactly is ISO and what does it stand for? I'm looking to buy a JB4 from someone on the forums and he doesn't know, if it doesn't could I upgrade it or send it in to get the ISO update? What is the ISO supposed to do and is it preferred that I have it? What happens if I don't have the ISO update?

The Boards there are very good for JB4 Support.
