Recaro/M Performance Seats
Anyone with M235i's know if its easy to install these seats and what would be required.
I know some guys fitted them into 1M's. http://ind-distribution.com/ind/bran...-edition-seats

these are not plug and play in a bmw m2. the real thing that makes the bmw performance seats so desirable is that they retain airbags and heating function. They do not compromise safety and features but also do not save much weight.
If you are looking to change your seats in an m2, it would make more sense in my book to get recaro sportster CS and have them upholstered in alcantara and polar blue stitching. They could be custom made to match the m2 better and because they wouldn't preserve the airbag, you could buy sportster CS without them and further save weight. |

For those interested, they do fit in the car and require a small amount of work to shuffle the pins around in the connectors on the seat side to make them plug and play. I swapped the factory seat side connector off of the stock seats and used both seat modules mounted to the bottom of the seats. Without these the heaters would not function. After I get the seat occupancy may coded out tomorrow, it should be good to go. Enjoy!
Edit: sorry for crappy mobile pictures, but they're better than nothing. |

Yep they look great.
Im struggling to find a pair in the UK. BMW seemed to have discontinued them. IND are pricey and thats before import tax.
