Canada Gas-Pumps (Which one do you go to?)
Hi all! I live in the northeast part of the GTA (Markham) and am wondering where everyone else is and which gas-bar do you feed your 2 series?
I personally have been an Esso gasser but that was really with my previous vehicles of either the Honda or the Lexus. Now that I'm gearing up for a performance vehicle I want to feed it premium fuels. Does any one know or have any specific gas stations that is suggested. How about any of those no-no's? List of gas stations that I know of in the southern Ontario region: Shell, Esso, Petro-Canada, Husky, Costco, Canadian Tire, 7-Eleven, Amco, Ultramar

Take a look at this: http://www.toptiergas.com/retailers/
Shell, Petro-Canada and Costco are in the list. Been feeding mine (E92 335i) Shell V-Power since the beginning... highly recommended for direct-injected engines like ours. |

Yea, I saw that Shell Petro-Canada & Costco are on there, So is Esso! I guess Esso gas is okay! But I guess 7-Eleven isn't so that's one to stay away... Does this list also include Canada? I thought it was more of the states thing.

Shell 91 Ethanol free every time.
Stations I avoid: Centex Esso Husky Mohawk ( Does this still exist? ) Ma and Pa Co-Op Macs My choices after Shell are Chevron 91-94 Ethanol free ( in BC when travelling ), then Petro 91, then Costco 91. |

I always use Shell 91 octane V-power - contains no ethanol..
Always use a Tier 1 (aka Top Tier) 91 octane or better gasoline. Avoid any ethanol blend (e.g. E10).
