Oil Temp on idrive ?

I have a 2016 m235i with tech package, other then accessing that hidden menu in the main, orange cluster below the speedometer, can I code an option to see the oil temp so it appears on idrive screen ?

Pop for the $400 P3Cars vent gauge. You'll get real time information.Installation is fairly easy. Stopping and accessing the hidden menu is a pain in the ass and is after the fact info.

To the OP, I use a spare phone, an obd2 bluetooth dongle and Torque. Check the sticky in the navigation subforum.

I'm sticking with this for awhile until I decide to get an integrated vent gauge.

Admittedly the hidden menu is a PITA. I used it a few times, but ended up using my phone and the torque app. Suits me. I'd like the built in vent option but rationalize the $$.

Could be your dongle. I use an iSaddle.
