milwaukee area body shop for M3

A huge rock was kicked up off the road and hit the hood of my YMB M3. I need to take it to a body shop to get the ding and paint repaired. Anyone have any experiences to share with the body shops in milwaukee, specifically with special colors like M3 colors?

BMW of north milwaukee (formerly concours) says to take it to Umansky Motors for repair.

I believe they are owned by Umansky so that makes sense they'd say to take it there

- is that at a separate location? In the past Concours was notorious for charging more than anyone in the metro area but I'm pretty sure they do good work - I have a YMB M4 and the minimal service I've had done has been inexpensive and the tech was great

Got the quote it's around $1400 but my insurance comp coverage pays for it anyway. Looks like they should be able to handle the YMB color fine, they are BMW certified shop which was important to me since it's an M.

They are going to redo the whole hood as there were a lot of other smaller chips too from the same gravel truck.

Now I need to look into getting quotes for clear bra to hopefully prevent some of this in the future.

In sure it will look great when they get done. Will keep an eye out for you, have not yet seen your car but I think my friend did. He thought it was me but I wasn't in the area where he spotted it at the time. Good luck with the repair and enjoy your awesome car.
