Try Alex at AlpineMSS. You can text him at +1 (310) 560-0808. He's located in West LA and can do remote coding as well. Does it for $100, but may be able to price match. He does excellent work!

do we know if these shops will re-code the car at no additional cost if the dealer accidentally puts in back in factory conditions?

Most individuals, including I, will recode if software upgrade clears out coding. I am not sure about the shops, but only way to know is ask them directly.
