AVOID Station Auto Wash in Leesburg

Thankfully, not my car... But if anyone here uses this car wash, you should seriously consider going elsewhere. A friend of mine took their car to Station, and the carwash itself pulled a piece of their car off (regular body part). Not only did the managers and owners completely deny it was the car wash, but threw some other nasty words at the customer's direction. It has been verified that it is the owner that we spoke with, and I can say that he is someone that should never have run a business.

This car was in perfect shape, and I was with this individual in the vehicle. More is becoming of the situation, so I can not give too much information, but I know a few people here that take their cars there.

It is spring time, and many of you would consider taking your car to the car wash. I would avoid Station Auto Wash at all costs...

+1 I think I told someone else from the group about this, but I went there once. They advertise a very safe and gentle wash, but they have spinning brushes that whap the hell out of the sides of the car -- they left swirls on my black paint.

It had been a long time since I'd been through an automated wash, and maybe I've just forgotten how violent they are, but Station Wash was too aggressive for me. IMO it is not the place for those of us who are OCD. I think I'll stick with ONR for winter washes.

On the other hand, the Exxon wash on Gallows is awesome, touch free, and getting the Works will get some pretty good results as long as the car is otherwise maintained.

oh my oh my! I used to recommend that place. I've delt with the owner before, I think his name was Tom and from what I can recall he was ok. I think I have his biz card.
