Removed the shark fin, then put it back immediately

I am not a fan of the shark fin, in fact it is one of the only few things I dislike about this car (no offense to shark fin lovers, just personal preference, only apply to my own car).

Removing the shark fin only took me 2 minutes, I first used dental floss to cut into the glue, once I got some opening, I used a really thin blade to trim off the glue little by little. Didn't know it was that easy, not even a scratch on the roof or shark fin cover.

I was really excited when I got the shark fin cover off. Then I just said "nevermind" and put the cover back on.

The holes underneth the cover is heart sinkingly big. Only way to make it look ok, you will need to fill the 1 big triangle (2inch x 3 inch) hole and two other small holes. Which means almost not possible without painting the entire roof.

I just want to say "F-You" to BMW.

That sucks. Sorry.

I hope you can get it back on nicely.

I don't mind the fin too much, but I HATE it on the e93. I deleted it when I placed my order. Can you do that with the e90/91/92?

For what?

It just mere glue, far easier than glue on a lip spoiler, nothing complicated.

ok, as long as you use good glue and you make it looks good then its all good. But it would suck if you fin flies off on the highway...

You could use 3M VHB tape, it will hold just about anything, particularly if you use their primer first.

You don't like the look of the fin? I think it looks amazing on the E92.

no, I don't like it at all. In fact I really hate it, especially on white car.

Just my personal preference and only limited to my own car, not trying to upset anyone or put anyone down. People on this forum seem to take it wrong or take it to the heart very easily.

Although, just about every manufacturer is starting to put something shark fin-esque on their cars.

You're inside the car more than you are sitting outside or on top of it, who cares what everyone else thinks. I bought the BMW for myself, f*** everyone else and what they think is ugly or not.

I heard that the only people having fuel pump issues are the ones who took their shark fin off.
