Low cost M2 carbon fiber rear diffuser

Just wondering if someone has ordered the low cost carbon fiber M2 rear diffuser available from China on ebay ?

It looks like a perfect copy of the M Performance CF rear diffuser, but at half the price.

Personnaly, I prefer genuine BMW parts, but at the half of the price it worth at least a reflexion.

Check out RW Carbon, they have a BMW Performance style rear diffuser for about half the price and definitely not an ebay knock off.. I had quite a few of their parts on my 235 and they have great customer service.

Thanks...I'm going to check them out as well.

Coincidentally, I just got a quote from my dealer on the M Perf diffuser. Even with a BMW club discount, it came to $1250 Canadian before installation and taxes...pretty pricy.

RW is getting their first shipment in for f87 next week. They are sending me one to fit and get pics. I'll post when I get it.

IMO buy OEM instead. You paid a good chunk of money for the M2, don't try to go all cheap with knock off accessories, it's not a Civic remember

I'm with atxsk8r on performance parts. But since it's mostly cosmetic I will probably go with better priced knock off.

Great ! I'll wait for your RW CF rear diffuser pictures.

Let's hope that it will not look like what we can see on their web site... (see picture)

In Canada those M Performance parts are way too pricy.

At $1,250 we should get the M Performance CF rear diffuser and the CF rear spoiler... But here those parts would cost us more than $2,000. That is the reason why I will not buy them. I'll look elsewhere.

Things is, buying elsewhere, paying US -> CDN and shipping + taxes and customs to get them here, puts just about every part on par with dealer costs.

The thing to keep I mind is dealers are always much, much, much more willing to negotiate on parts vs MSRP on the M2. PM me and I'll give you details on what I paid.

Keep in mind too we have great deals on most parts compared to the US, SS pedals for example are $195 CDN but $250 USD.

Are you talking about installed prices for the pedals? Because I paid $120 for mine from the dealer

See this is my point $195 is MSRP, what you pay can and should be less

There is also a dealer here in the U.S. that I am familiar with from my 235 and they offer 25% off everything including M Performance parts so that is where I order all OEM parts from

There isn't any replica available atm for sale.

I got M235 carbon spoiler lip replicate, and I'm very happy with quality and fitment of it

Yeah, but not the quality one, and I posted it here:

http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...&postcount=549

The negative side is, that you might see some minimal imperfections, and it's not actually a full CF spoiler as bottom was made of abs plastic.

Other negative thing is that you have to buy good 3M double side tape, and to do the install by yourself.

So if you want to save 250+ bucks on other mods and have some excitement go for it!

Anyway, I just found that there is a replicate of cf diffuser, and I will see to order it from the next month for sure.

Tempting. But I worry about fitment.

You could always invoke eBay buyer protection policy for peace of mind if it doesn't fit, as the photos depicted in the advertisement suggest it fits.

I've bought this one but through eBay rather than their direct website purely for their buyer protection. eBay Australia had a 15% off coupon active a few days ago

I did, after buying the OEM one from iND and being refunded upon information that it was back ordered for over a month.

It is identical in look, fitment and quality.
