wheels and rims stolen!

my girlfriend's 2016 Honda accord Sport just got her rims and tires stolen right in her home in Miami, Florida. She got wheel locks on her car as well and they still stole it.

It happened on Friday and we made a call to her insurance company Infinity Insurance. They said they were going to send an adjuster out but didn't so I called them today but they said they have no tow truck or adjuster available for weekends? I asked her what happens if there was an accident and they needed a tow? She just shrugged and said they don't have any tow trucks available for the weekend. What horrible service from Infinity Insurance.

Anyways since we opened a claim already and she will probably have to pay a $500 deductible. I'm thinking of calling a tow company and have it towed and install the wheel package at a shop.

Never experience this kind of problem before and it was pretty shocking.

Any advise on this situation? Any towing service that deal with this kind of tow and any local tire shops around the area? I was thinking of just ordering a wheel package from Tirerack but just wondering if any locals know of any shops.

It happened on 204th in Miami Gardens actually. She lives in a mobile home community.

I feel bad for her. I did some googling on Infinity Insurance and apparently they have pretty bad reviews. Adjuster not calling back and coming out for weeks or months.

Also apparently the new Honda Accord Sport with 19" rims are attractive to thieves. A number of people got those rims stolen. I guess there's a big black market for them.

I'm probably going to get an alarm installed since wheel locks don't deter these thieves.

Also a neighbor actually saw a guy did this and wrote down this plate and already reported to the police. Hopefully they catch this guy.

I fear this happening to my vehicles, even in the Kendall/Pinecrest area where I live. I'll search CL.

shit I think they look are like that.

Mistake I did is putting through a claim to the insurance. Her deductible is 1k/1k and coverage is 10k PIP/ 10k PDL and she is paying is a little over 1500 for 6 months.

I'm not from the US but that seems like really basic coverage. In Ontario, Canada we have no fault insurance too and my coverage is 500/500 deductible with 1 mill liability and i only pay only $185/month or $1110 every 6 months to make it easier to compare.

Just wondering what is your guys auto insurance coverage is like and how much you pay in Miami, FLorida

120-200 a month & 500 deductible sounds about right. Lol
