Spacer Poll

Hi all,

Looking to get the H&R springs, keep the stock wheels and get some spacers. Taking a poll as to what size spacers?

10mm all around
7.5mm all around
Staggered

Let me know what everyone thinks is the best fitment.

7.5 in the front was perfect for me. When I had my stock rears, 10 seemed to offer the best stance.

So you had 7.5 in the front and 10mm in the rear?

Any others have good experience with spacers?

I'm in the same boat; getting my H&R's installed next Friday; I am going to wait a bit for them to settle. Then get an alignment. At that time I will install spacers (I think). Hopefully by then they'll be some more input from other forums members....

Hey man. I have the springs as well. I ended up going with the turner spacers with the included hub extenders(awesome). My specs came out to 12mm front and 7.5mm rear.

The front is perfect, a 10mm in the rear would be just right.

That's great info guys thanks. I know there's another M2 on here with 10mm all around. Send pics if you can. It would be great to compare stances.

Thanks.

Turner Motorsports has a spacer "test" kit you can borrow for $20. They'll send you a variety of spacer widths. However, they are not their actual spacers, and when I called them they did not recommend me driving up and down my driveway (that is one of my concerns with a lowered car and pushed out wheels). So I guess this kit would help determine what aesthetic you are going for but won't help much in determining clearance/rubbing issues.

I have 12mm & 15mm spacers I took off my X3. I'm thinking of putting the 12mm front but not sure whether the 15mm will fit on rear of my stock M2. Anyone know?

I tried out the 10 mm spacers on the rear and in my opinion it was slightly too much.
The tire was slightly sticking out and for me this is a no go.
The rear is quite flush as it is and 5 mm spacers could be OK.
My thoughts on this
Cheers
