SportAuto results RS6 vs M5

Hi guys,

Well the results have been posted on some other forums and it looks like the M5 has been proven to be slower than the RS6 after all.

Here's the results of the test.

RS6 14,8s vs 15,4s M5.......0-200km/h

Hockenheim lap times
RS6 1.15,7 vs 1.16,5 M5

RS6 was running similar tyres to the M5 but from different tyres companies. This is a track which should have played into the M5's hands because of the tighter corners and the excessive nose weight of the RS6 but it looks like the DRC system which the RS6 uses is working a treat to keep that weight in check.

in same issue they tested M3 E90 vs C63. Laptime 1.15,2 min for both cars.

Regarding Rs6 and M5 Touring, when you look at the acceleration figures you understand why RS6 need 580hp and tons of torque. Because 0.6 sec isnt much of a difference.

That's proves that size does matter and smaller does yield better results.

Well that's what I tell my wife when we watch Porn.

To me that proves that AUDI can't use the same size (displacement) engine to compete with BMW. They have to use a bigger engine just to get .6 seconds faster.

What shouldn't be left out is that Sportauto mentioned that the RS6 is only able to perform one single lap faster than 1:16.0, after that the front tires are done.

Best regards, south

i'm just glad that audi finally gave one of their cars (RS6) a lot of power because some of their other cars are overrated and under powered
