(UPDATED with Light turned on!) World's First - OSSDesigns Iconics for M2/2-series

Everyone, it is time for the first revealing teaser.

I had previously made a preemptive thread about this while my car was in the shop, to help calm my nerves. Luckily this exciting mod is now just days away from being on the car.

After about 1 month in Miami, my headlights are ready to be sent back to me, here in Colorado.

Today, I got the first finished shots of the product.

What can I say? I am beyond thrilled. After a long time waiting, OSSDesigns did not disappoint.

I will keep this thread updated as the lights make their journey to being back on the car.

Cheers!! What do you guys think?

BUILD:

- OSSDesigns 6K Next Gen Iconic Headlights - First ever pair of their new and improved high density LED Iconics.
- Full Satin Black Housing Blackout
- High Density LED Eye Brow Replacement
- Switchback light for Eyebrows - **Eyebrows are now turn signals**
- Stock amber turn signal DELETE
- Silver OSSDesigns Logo

UPDATE: OSSDesigns just posted this on their Instagram!!!! You can see them lit up!!! AHHH I want them now, they look awesome!!!!

How much does something like this cost? Don't include headlight cost.

I really want to like these, but it may look like it was a contestant on Pimp My Ride.

I think it'll look good installed because he had the housing smoked and with the MG paint color, it's going to be a really good match.

I like the spec and tech not too keen on the shape. The angle eyes are a classic BMW identifier just like the front bumper design that BMW is replacing with the ugly "batman joker" wide grin that I think started on the 4 series (?) leaving only he M cars w/the classic BMW front end.

Completely agree about the "grin" - save the classic BMW face!

As for the shape, I find the hex to be a nice evolution of the angel eyes - like it came off a concept car or something like that.

Wow please keep us updated with prices and pics once you get it installed on the car. Also if it throws any codes.

I love your "world premiere" tag line.

Can't wait to see them on the car.

I'm going to figure it all out once I'm done installing them. I got a couple upgrades later on and they cut me a few deals so I don't have an exact number right now. But it's not cheap unfortunately.

Will have to do that when I can! Off the top of my head. They are brighter, whiter, meaner. My turn signal is now my eyebrow, which will blink bright white to amber when I signal. The ugly stick corner turn signal which uses the reflector will be coded off.

Will look something like this:

Yep, mine will be brighter and whiter since they're the newer version

I really hope not. I didn't get the gloss black housing, I got flat black. And mine only light up bright white, but my turn signals are now the eyebrows which are led and will blink amber. There's nothing really pimp going on at all in my opinion but others may think differently.

That's the plan! I didn't go gloss black on purpose. The flat black will go great with MG I think.

I mean sure, that's a valid opinion. I personally don't care about that. These look much more upscale and aggressive in my opinion, and besides, all BMWs are phasing over to a Hexagonal design regardless. I couldn't really care less about the circular heritage but that's probably because I'm much younger.

Me too! Thanks!

Will do. Hopefully it will not. I am doing some preemptive coding to delete the stock turn signals to hopefully avoid any possibility of that happening.

Cool. Definitely interested to see the installed result.
