Lightbulb Custom M2 Coloring

Has anyone been able to custom color an M2 from BMW? Or has everyone had to visit a paint shop?

Would love an M2 in Red and wanted to know my options.

The four colors are all you get. BMW is not offering the Individual program for the M2, so you'll either have to paint it or wrap it.

Thanks for the reply. Sometimes you hear of dealerships just not promoting color options unless you ask, so I wanted to make sure I was not missing out.

Off to find some Red swatches...

Why not try a wrap first? Probably cheaper and if it doesn't look good, way easier to fix

Aside from price, are there any advantages of wrap vs paint?

I saw a custom M4 in Ferrari Red with black accents a while ago when they first came out. Ever since, I've had that picture in my head for an M2 with the new CF M-Performance parts. I guess I'm not sure if a wrap would get the same look.

Wrap provides protection against stone chips, deeper scratches, etc.

Other than that, not much. There are a few wrapped M2's around, I know of two for sure: the intense blue one and the speed yellow one. I would kill someone for BMW to offer the M2 in yellow!

Intense Blue w/ black accents

Speed Yellow

Both of those look fantastic!

Change that Intense Blue to Red and that's exactly what I had in mind. I will definitely take some time to look at wraps now and learn some more.

Thank you for the help!

Yeah it's a shame about the limited colours...

I still have a thing for the orange photoshop concept:

Oh man, that Orange looks way better than I thought.

I know by limiting options they keep costs down, but come on... at least some different color calipers!
