How does the M235i side skirt install? Do you think we could make it work with the M2?

AND, may there be a choice...CF is fine is you wish it, and go with it other places on car. But, the solid black, gloss or otherwise non CF material [as per the current M235] would be great as an alternative. Goes great with simple solid black non CF attachments, caps, spoiler, diffuser etc.

I had seen the lightweight before and wasn't fully sold on it but i think it could be a go.

Just want to see more pictures of it installed showing different angles from more of a distance - the ones on the website are too close to get a good idea on how it looks.

Does anyone know of anyone that has installed it? DrKev?

Just another perspective that will not be popular, with most running after CF. I like CF look, BUT if...if and it can happen, you scrape even a wee bit, the CF will be--I think--harder to repair or hide/mask.
Have the non CF BMW splitter on my M235 and love it. It only slightly hit a low rise of concrete. It bruised, scuffed and took a bit of material away, dead center.

Purchased some special plastic filler, and it smoothed right out. Then masked it and sprayed a nice satin black on it, rubbed it out after cure finished, and it cannot be seen. I wish same hard non CF material for our new M2 which is being built this next week. CF is nice, but personally don't intend to CF the car front to back and thus solid black would be lovely.

Just some thots. Soooo this site above...or perhaps IND stateside will work on the non CF. Maybe there are others who like the solid black look.

Mine will be delivered Monday. I went with non-CF, as I know this thing will get scuffed. Hopefully, I'll have it installed shortly thereafter.

Great! Can't wait to see it.

Where did you order from? I'm not getting much joy / reply out of the Lightweight guys?

They've not prompt in returning the purchase inquiry.

Got there in the end and ordered one....is on the way....

I planned to get it painted the same gloss black as the M Performance kidney grills but apparently that's the black it comes in so all good there!

I also thought the Gloss Black would complement my grilles. It should also be easier to refinish for inevitable damage.

Any idea if this uses factory bolts to attach or is drilling of the underside of the bumper required?

How's the colour compare to the grill colour?

They said it was the same?
