I suppose it might make sense to describe the situation a bit better because it seems some may be getting hung up on certain details.
First, I rolled warranties (tire&wheel and excessive wear) into the lease. This was 3,000 that added to the 750 monthly payment which otherwise would have made the payment lower. Those warranties are cancelled and refunded to the account, instead of lowering the payment. I used the refunded amount to make the last few payments so you will not see the benefit of that cancellation. That being said, I am asking for zero of the MSD back. So 5250-3000 is 2250 which would be the incentive (along with the brand new run flat tires). Now, there's about 28 months left on the lease. 5250/28 is 187.50. 750-187.50 is 562.50 which is effectively the monthly cost. This would also include Virginia sales tax, which taxes on the full price of the car. I may change the ad to 562.50 including taxes after incentives, but thought most would find that misleading without a full breakdown. |

Thanks for the clarification. I see now where/why your numbers are the way they are. I agree some may take the 562 as misleading, though.
