Selling my 09' JR Stage 2.5 Tuned / Deleted 335d

As the title reads, I am selling my 09' Deleted / Tuned 335d. Why you ask? Its X5d time - I just need the room. Infant car seats huge and as much as an "I told you so" it is, the 335d just isn't big enough for me.

Sweet car! Check it out:

Sorry If I am not supposed to make a double for sale thread but only the diesel guys will appreciate this thing.

Nice car. Someone will surely snag it up quick.

Are you planning to do the same mods & tuning to the X5D?

Seems like you are giving it away at $15,000 since you have invested in all of the "off road" mods. Perhaps it is the 110,000 miles but I would still say at least $18,000.

I have an 35D and we LOVE it! The best vehicle we have have ever owned. Just turned 173k miles and is every bit as tight and nimble as she was in 2010. Great purchase. That said, I have 4 kids and its a bit snug. We have the third row and even though all my kids sit comfortable and the middle row has sliders, the stupid infant seat requires the passenger seat to be pretty far forward. Once they're in forward facing/ boosters, its fine but, rear facing sucks. It's worth the it IMO though.

Course! I can't leave anything alone. Specially after feeling how they go when tuned.

I was trying to price it aggressive enough where it sold quick. I've sold a few tuned / deleted VW's and had luck doing the same. Thanks though!!

I have 4 kids as well (11,7,2,1) so I need the room too. I am down to one carseat seat turned the other way, he will be big enough soon to turn it so that won't be as bad. The X5d's are pricey though, yikes. Only good thing is they seem to be much easier to find than the sedan. Thanks for the info, makes me feel better!

I was also entertaining a thought of selling my 335d to buy 35d especially now with available tuning for X5s. I am wondering if a tuned stg2 (abc del) x5 will be able to keep up with a stock 335d?

From a power to weight perspective, you only need about a 75 hp increase. Thats easily doable with a tune.

The 35d with 3rd row seating are not as easy to find. I assume you're looking for a 3rd row with 4 kids. The 3rd row seats are perfect for the kids. The middle row is adjustable to maximize leg room for the rear seat too.

We usually travel with the 30% portion of the middle seat down, two kids on the 70% and the two boys in the back. It's easy to get in and out and they have a spot for their Xbox...

We have a tuned and DPF free Touareg and it is a BEAST!!

I can't imagine a stage II x5d with all the restrictive parts removed!!

Dropped the price to $13,500 trying to spark some interest.

13,500 ouch. That's inexpensive for what it is. I am not too crazy about selling my tuned 335d but when Vw starts giving out fat buy back checks I'm putting mines up for sale. You already see these tdi guys migrating here. I think it will be a sellers market for our cars when/if it actually happens.

Ya I thought its a real aggressive price, obviously I was hoping for more but oh well. All the right stuff has been done, its ready to roll! I think next week VW is making the final ruling.

While it's a nice car, mods in general, don't add any resale value, and in some cases reduce it. Every modded car I've had has been this way. It might be worth it to go back to stock, or trade it in.

"Last Tuesday, U.S. District Court Judge Charles Breyer said he was "strongly" inclined to approve the settlement, and that a final decision would be made before October 25, according to Bloomberg."

I'm waiting on my check from VW. Went ahead and bought my 335d though. When you find that deal, you just gotta jump. (2011 335d M-Sport in Titanium/black with only 37,000 miles).

Great car for anyone that is looking at this! Great price too!
