I have found a few breaker yards selling sets for £1000-1200.

But I spoke to a BMW tech guy who is a mate of mine from school and he said you also need to have headlight washers fitted for them to pass MOT?

Plus to fit these OEM's its not gonna be cheap in labour right.

No need for washers, this was discussed in the Depo thread.

Can't you fit them yourself? Or do you have hands full of thumbs?

Also don't forget you can sell your old headlights for at least £200

This might seem stupid but whats the difference and why does one need washers and the other not?

I have seen this link which would tell me everything I need to buy and works out around £1200 in parts from ebay etc. I am wiling to do it.

But I wanna know how long it would take someone to fit them, plus code them to the car etc.

not sure but on my new F21 which is standard with LED, headlight washers is an option, which I didn't even bother with due to the mess they make! even when I upgraded to adaptive led, it still was an option! but I would have though you will need auto levelers for xenon's or led's, don't you?

if you haven't gone through all the modifications that you have been through, I would have just changed the car, but that's not an option for you now considering your long list of modifications! I am sure you'll find a way

Changing car might of been an option for another 320d your right, but now for me my car is unique and I am very happy. But the cost difference to go to as 330d with negative equity in mind and the cost of a 330d+ is just not worth it. By the time I move home next year I will be around 2 years in to my PCP aswell and it will make alot more sense.

After moving I have already spoke to the Mrs and I will be sitting down and seeing what I can afford a month on a car and a realistic deposit.

So far I am not sure whether I will keep my current car and give it to the Mrs to drive OR sell/trade it for something else. So far my list consists of:

M3 (Only if figures are right, as this is the overall dream)
340i with MPPK (Best all rounder?)
M140i (Yes its a smaller car, but man they seem fun!)

Also I am working on another headlight solution now, speaking to a few companies in SW London.

nice shortlist

I went for M135, there was no M140 then and quite happy with my choice
