For me, the driving season has come to a close

My M4 will be going into it's winter hibernation next weekend. After the cold temperatures from this past week, I reached out to my contact at the storage facility to make arrangements. It's possible reasonable temperatures may linger for another 2-3 weeks. Though it's also possible snow or ice could be around the corner. My biggest concern is the cold temperatures (i.e. not compatible with the tires).

My observation and lesson learned from this past season, don't work so much and use the car more often. Since delivery in May, I have a total of 2400 miles on the odometer. Most of that coming from our various cruises.

I suspect someone may comment "put winter tires on it and use it throughout the year". While I have driven high torque and HP RWD cars in the past with dedicated snow tires, my DD is a Jeep GC Summit V8. This is a better winter vehicle considering ground clearance, comfort and road salt factor (meaning if I get sand or salt on it, I don't care as much vs. the M4).

See everybody next spring.

work less, drive more. agree with this 100%
i've got a few ideas brewing for cruises next year...
the biggest one being a couples cruise. nice leisurely drive up through vermont, then we enjoy a hot air balloon ride over the flatlands and mountains before poppin bottles and grabbing dinner

semi-related, the cruises this year were a ton of fun. im proud of the 27k miles on the car and have fond memories of every single mile driven

Make sure you charge the battery every 2-3 weeks with Li-ION charger. Some recommend Ctek
