An update to backup cameras not automatically coming on
Hey Fellow F30 pilots -
I just became the proud owner of a 2013 AW 335ix and ran across an issue with my backup camera. When I put it in reverse, the backup camera wouldn't come on automatically - had to be manually turned on each time and it wouldn't remember the setting. This happened for both keys. There was a thread about this a few years ago but no definitive answer for the problem: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...=backup+camera Some things that didn't work - 1) My local BMW service manager 2) Upgrading iDrive software 3) Hardbooting iDrive What did work - Reset your current driver profile. It might be a pain in the ass, but it worked! Hope this helps. |
