G20 3 Series will become more angular
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com But if you look at the new 5 Series you can see the details are becoming angular and more sharper rather than curvier and shapely. The G20 3 Series also brings more of a sharper technical look than before. The front is similar to this.

Very nice! It's like a better looking A4 as far as angular features go.

Not bad looking from the front. Interested to see the rest. Definitely evolutionary, not revolutionary.

Those grills don't seem big enough, they should have gone bigger.

This is my opinion. The reason why the 5er front fascia works the best and the G11 7er to a lesser degree is that the headlights present a more full headlight enclosure vs. the F30 which has a more slim look, leading to a thin and flat front. If the G20 follows the 5er more than the F30, it's going to be a hit. If not, prepare for more moans and groans. To be honest, the headlight is probably the worst feature on the F30 for me. I didn't like it when the F30 was revealed, still don't like it today.
What Mercedes doing what they have with the C-Class, the F30 looks even more pedestrian than ever. Last edited by TheBingoBalls; 11-16-2016 at 04:23 PM.. |

The twin round headlights are dying a slow death... next up the Hofmeister kink?

More of the same...eventually all
cars will look alike... I wish if BMW would have kept round angels eyes head light design in their cars...that would have been unique... Sharp angles are not unique...all car makers use them these days...

the overall design looks progressive but the lights make it look like an Audi. if you look at the car without the lights it looks good. I think BMW need to go back to the drawing board with the lights to differentiate the brand from Audi.

As others have said, a bit too Audi. Headlights seem disproportionately narrow/small - which is a current trend - and as a result, there is too much bare plastic between the headlights and the front side vents
