M5 vs Average speed camera
Hello all,
Went out this morning for an early morning drive and ended up in an unfamiliar part of London. As the speed limit was 40 mph I had the cruise control set to 39 and driving along behaving myself, all of a sudden the signage changes to 30mph, average speed check and 2 average speed cameras back to back to start with then one ever few miles till the zone ended. By the time I passed the second average speed camera which was no lie 3 seconds behind the 1st at the start of the zone I was doing 36mph and deacelerating down to 30 and continued slowly for the duration of the average speed zone I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience and if they received any points for going past the first 2 cameras over the limit in one of these zones. Can't help wonder if I had ceramic breaks I could avoid the points |

Think the law is they have to be a minimum of 200 metres apart.
They are fast in processing, if you don't get something by Tuesday your good.
