Tire wear
Hi. I am currently on a set of Mich AS3s not AS3+ and noticed that the rear tires are completely bald in the middle while the outer and inner edges look great with at least 50% tread left. Of course I think it has to be tire over-inflation, but when I take my car to Costco to order new tires the Manager says it's probably an alignment issue. Could this actually be an alignment issue? I am running 255/35/19s on my stock 403M wheels. Front wheels look perfect. This is after 20K miles, which is fine given I only get about 10,000 from MPSS but I want to prevent this from happening again.. PS. The other rear tire wear looks exactly the same

I have moved away from Pilot sport A/S completely and gone to continental because of these wear issues.
Had the issue on original psas and psas 2s. On an e46 and e92.

Looks like an alignment issue to me--it appears to get bald as you from outside edge inward. Look at the tread on the outside and then on the inside. More worn on the inside. If it was an inflation issue the sides would look the same but the middle would be worn.

the inside and outside of the tire are worn virtually exactly the same.. Both inside and outside tread are at 50% on both rear tires while the middle three ribs are bald with a slight bias of baldness toward the inner tread, but only slight. Hope that makes sense.

So you also had abnormal wear issues in the center of the tire with AS3's?

Don't know if this helps but using a measuring tape where 0" is the inner sidewall and 9.5" is the outer sidewall, the most tread-wear is between 3.5" (inner) and 6" (outer) on both tires

No I have had the issue on the first two generations of the tire. Verbatim to what you're explaining. i have not purchased any 3s or 3+ because I lost faith in the treadler rating on them.Original Extreme contact DWS lasted 2x longer.
I guess what I am saying is this is nothing new for this line of tires from michelin
