advice about DP, IC etc
Need to invest in a DP, IC airfilter form my f30 335i. Have looked at several products but need some input.
Looking at either ER or Wagner the price range went skyhigh. Looking at VRSF the stuff looks more affordable (its not always you get what you pay for, but as far as i have read, Wagner isnt a crappy product so to speak ). anyone can tell the difference between the 3 i have mentioned. Already bought a Stage2 at Vtech(sweden based) wich with upgraded hardware suppose to give 385hp/540nm. so before tuning is done i need to replace the most. DP, IC, intake, Chargepipe and exhaust. please link to shops if u have any. |

Wagner is top brand that offers the highest quality products, not sure where you heard they have crappy products In terms of fitment, all three brands will fit perfectly With your current mods, you should get a 6" intercooler (preferably high density) My top 3 would Wagner EVO 2, VRSF 6" High Density or the Evolution Racewerks FMIC Competition

If you're looking for the lowest intake temps, you're not going to find anything that can compare to our 6.5" race core right now. Most of the logs we're seeing show intake temps lower at the end of the pull vs the start
As for downpipes we offer free ceramic coating with every downpipe which is normally a $80-$100 option with other brands. Our fitment is spot on and guaranteed, we have over 300 of these downpipes out in the wild and have never had a fitment issue. Our new F30 chargepipe also offers the same lifetime guarantee as the other two products against fitment/defects. All 3 products will save you a few hundred dollars over the competition as well |

i never wrote i have heard they have crappy products. i wrote "but as far as i have read, Wagner isnt a crappy product so to speak ". maybe the whole sentence were misinterpreted in the beginning. sorry for that. what i meant was that the most expensive ones arent necessary the best, and it was not a diss against wagner. |

Mike can steer you in the right direction. He's been helpful with my purchases as I run VRSF's CP and have Wagner's catted DP and FMIC. All three components fit very and thus far, I have no complaints.

Another option is the CTS Turbo intercooler, I recently picked one up and have been happy so far. Bonus, looks like it's on sale for $479 (US) (http://www.ctsturbo.com/cart/product...IT-4939-7.html)
You can read about my experience with it through the link in my sig.

You can mix and match if you'd like but you're not going to benefit from nearly the same gains when going from catless to catted downpipes.
That CTS is a Wagner copy. If you're looking for a budget solution, our street intercooler will offer the same performance for about $20 less. |

I ended up with VRSF cp and Wagner FMIC. Both are great brands. I didn't really consider ER due to their pricing.
