Anyone dealt with Herb Chambers BMW lately?
I'm in New York State and am interested in a CPO 2014 335i with a manual tranny they have for sale. I've read some mixed reviews about the dealership but I was wondering if anyone has dealt with them before. I was thinking of having a friend I know from Boston check it out the car but he is out of the country for a few weeks. In any case, I'd like to learn as much as I can before I commit to a long trip.

I was out there recently looking at a CPO 435. I dealt with a guy named Nick - he was totally professional and I had a fine experience. However, they had a set price on the car, which was not cheap, and they wouldn't budge. I didn't get further than a test drive, so can't comment beyond that. I ended up finding a car out west and am having it shipped here as we speak - I still saved $3k over Boston prices.

All Herb Chamber dealers have a fixed price model for used cars. I found that they will lower the asking price if the car sits. I have also found that while they won't budge on price they have room on trades and can throw in extra add ons.

I'm a brand new member here and to the BMW community. I bought my CPO 2013 335i from that Herb BMW you guys are talking about. Yes they are very busy but they treated me the best in all my years of buying cars.
They gave me the keys and told me to come back before they closed. Zero pressure to buy. The Sales guy I worked with actually didn't want to sell me anything on the lot because it didn't match my criteria. I waited till something came along and he helped me get into the car I wanted. On a side note I mentioned the wheels had serious curb rash to the sales guy and he said "I'll take care of it". This was AFTER I had signed for the car. I was going to take delivery with the curb rash but he fixed it without me asking. So if anyone is interested in the most recent experience at Herb, that's how I was treated. I would recommend that dealership. |

Really poor service, I bought a brand new 2013 335 M sport with them (which I regretted), then I saw online that they had a gray 2016 M3 for sale, I made and appointment with the sales guy to look at the car, and guess what, the guy didn't even bother to bring the car from their storage lot to show me
Then I drove to Nashua NH and I bought one and did euro delivery
