Exclamation Cleaning PIANO BLACK or GLOSSY BLACK parts

As you know, our M240's have a lot of glossy (piano) black surfaces (dashboard, windows, mirrors) and this parts get scratched very easy

What's the best product to clean and keep those parts glossy and protected from scratches ??

I was thinking in liquid wax, like Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax...

What do you think ?

I'm sure everyone has their favorite, I use Chemical Guys V7 on the shinny black plastic. Just make sure the microfiber towel is damp with V7 and lightly wipe to avoid scratches. With the V7 the plastic piece doesn't seem to attract dust as much as uncoated plastic does. But, that could be my imagination.

I've been using griots and a microfiber, haven't noticed scratches, but perhaps not that picky either.

Thanks. I tried Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax and it's great ! The same wax i use for the paint also works for the glossy black parts.

I was talking about the Griots interior cleaner, not a wax. Hadn't thought of waxing it - does that help with the dust attraction?

Try Griot"s Interior Detailer or Eco-touch Dashboard Protect. I've used them both on all interior surfaces and like them very much. They add some gloss and leave a protective coating.

You'd be surprised of how great this Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax works in plastic surfaces like the glossy black trim. This wax is not creamy and doesn't leave any residue. I've use it in both interior and exterior black glossy parts with great results. It makes the surfaces dust and dirt resistant. I even use it to make the headlights "bug resistant" !

I apply the wax with a foam and remove it with a microfiber cloth.

Try it.

Meguiar's M17 and 18 is what I use on the clear or glossy plastic. What do you guys use on the matte plastic of the center console/steering wheel? Any ideas?
