Rim Choices
I was going to begin researching rims and was hoping the community can contribute to links or brands to consider in terms of style. I'm only familiar with VMR but was hoping to learn of other brands. Thanks.

Before you can get help, what is your taste in wheels, and what is your budget? Deep dish wheels? Wheels for tracking? I have the VMR V710's, great wheel for the price. However I'm looking to upgrade to something nicer, something with a step lip, like bbs lm's. Or possibly something like Volk Racing TE37SL's

I wanted to see variety. I, originally, liked and was looking at VMR810 but now kind of considering something with a little less spokes for easier cleaning. This car will not be tracked.

If you like that mesh style, but want less spokes, check out our V803! Like the V810, it is a lightweight flow formed wheel!

for 18's these are what i would consider. all of these are 19lbs or less. reasonably priced with flow formed barrels. apex offered in silver, anthracite, black. tsw offered in silver or gunmetal (dark anthracite)
apex sm-10 apex fl-5 tsw bathurst. |

I was looking at these as well and they do look amazing. Less spokes than 810 so easier to wash. More pics of this would be great to see but this is looking really good. Thanks for posting. However, these seem to be only in 19's and never heard from VMR if they would make them in 18's.

The first two pics are the same...? Which are they? If the third dark one is TSW, I'm not really feeling them. Thanks for posting. I will look at apex rims.

I went on apex site and filtered by BMW F30 and none of the Apex styles you listed are an option...

the 1st and 2nd apex wheel pics are not the same. the 1st one, sm-10, has spokes going to the edge of the rim and 2nd, the fl-5, has 5 v spokes to a lip. maybe the filter thing is not updated on the apex site. the wheels pictured are on an f30 and the wheel sizing of 18x8.5 +35 5x120 is a common f3x size.
