AC turns on and blows somewhere
I had an issue today on my way back home from my parents house. The AC stopped working but not in that the temperature changed. The AC just stopped blowing air (hot or cold). I could some very faint coolness coming out of the vent (and yes the vent was open). The weird thing was that i could her something being blown around it just wasn't coming out of any of the vents. Once I got home I went out to eat in my wife's car and when I came back, I powered on the car and the AC was blowing normally.
I saw a few points where other members posted the same symptoms but I didn't find anything that pointed to why this happened. Anybody have any thoughts? Is there some sort of switch that regulates the air that comes out of the blower? Very odd. I hope it doesn't happen again. J.D. |

My climate control system is also possessed by German engineers. I think this behavior is normal.

It's a known issue with 2015s. The condenser gets too cold and freezes up. Take it to the dealer. It's an evaporative sensor issue.

Some posts that I read say that it happened to them once and never appeared again. I'm really hoping that's the case. |

Did you check your floor vents? It is possible that, for some reason, your car decided that all of the flow needed to go to the floor vents for a period of time.

Were you by any chance in EcoPro? HVAC is sensitive to drive mode.
It has been in the mid 60s during the day and 40s at night recently and I still use A/C just for circulation. |
