Headlight question from HID Xenon to Halogen?

Need a set of headlights for an E90 335xi it originally comes with HID Xenon headlights but I want to replace it with aftermarket eBay headlights. It's a daily so I don't care about aftermarket or how it'll look as long as it works.

For some reason the eBay aftermarket headlights which are halogen state it won't work with HID factory equipped vehicles? Is it just a wiring issue or is the actual headlight different?

What would I have to do to make those eBay headlights work with the car?

Wiring and coding are both different. You'll need to code your NFRM to accept halogen, and use halogen high beams. You'll also need to code it to not have dynamic xenons.

So it's easily doable? How about the wiring?

Not sure why you want to downgrade, but you could probably find someone who wants to swap their OEM halagens for your more desirable xenons and you could transfer everything over between the two cars, if your xenons are working properly. You would both have to be confident about coding. There probably are some threads about retrofitting OEM Xenons to E90s, but not likely about going the other way. Some on this forum have had issues with eBay headlights.
