E and F chassis spacers
I have a 2017 F36 GC and two E46 M3s and initially thought I could interchange spacers between the E and F chassis because of the same bore and bolt pattern - 72.56 and 5x120.
Looking at some Burger tuning 12 and 15mm spacers and they are sold separately by chassis - E and F. Anyone know if there is a difference? Many thanks. |

Your F36 use M14x1.25 wheel bolts, older BMWs used M12x1.5.
Measure the diameters of the holes in your existing spacers, if the holes are larger than 14mm you can use them on your F36. |

the f series cars use a larger pad than the e series. this causes an unsightly gap between rim and rotor. the big pad allows for more of the rim surface to contact the spacer. its a difference of 6mm in diameter so not a huge deal.
Turner illustrates this: you can read more about it here: https://www.turnermotorsport.com/t-w...cyclopedia#Pad
