Need a ground for V1
I'm trying to hardwire my V1, but can't find a ground. I don't have a sunroof, so there aren't any screws or anything above the console up top. I've looked at every DIY out there, and they all show some sort of screw or bolt right above the console.

Hey CowMoo,
Can you post the info longtran gives you as I will be doing the same thing. Side rant, why can't Valentine make an intergrated version of the v1 so we dont' have to have a stupid box on our windsheild. Rob

Ok, I got it figured out. I didn't think I had a ground before b/c I piggybacked the wrong wire. There are two holes right above the console up top where the motor for the sunroof is secured. I don't have anything there, so I just took a piece of sandpaper and sanded down the paint and stuck the tongued end in the hole. The connector is bigger than the hole and sat there by itself, but I taped it just in case. I might get a screw the put in there at some point, but it's working fine now. If anyone needs some help, let me know, it's not hard at all. I didn't even tap any wires, just piggybacked a connector.
