Any experience with this site and Lightweight lips?

Interested in purchasing the below but the price has me a little worried that it's too good to be true. Anyone care to comment?

Maybe it's just me but I feel like the lightweight lip was just taken off the 2 series and said to fit the m2. It should be wider to fit to both ends of the bumpers.

I don't know about that part in particular, but EAS was a big go to place when I had my E46 M3.

Might be a sponsor on here as well.

I think I remember seeing a fellow forum member order this particular style lip but not from this site. I guess I'll continue to shop around. I like the subtle look of it and seems like a good option for driving in NY/NJ

I like the looks of this....and no its not from the M235 OEM.

That one was form fitted up into the side wing openings. Very nicely done it was.

This one is simple --It need not be overly fancy to complete that front look. Standing by on this one, as IND is not, at this time, proposing a non CF splitter. This could be a find. Thanks.

You are correct, someone did buy the Lightweight splitter, but apparently it came all scratched up and the guy repainted it himself. He was still happy with the end result if I recall

Do you know if this was the bottom or top section? Hopefully someone takes the risk before I do and shares their results

Ordered one from EAS last week & it was delivered yesterday. Yet to finish installation. $500 for a piece of plastic seems expensive but a lot more durable & less expensive than CF...

Got mine from EAS, Brandon was the rep on phone. Super service. Got it installed last week, and am verrrry pleased. Price, fit, function as well.

Have not said much re: CF. Nice for brag rights I guess at C&C's but woe to have the chips or damage IF one would happen to get a bit too close to a parking stop.

Had the ABS OEM splitter on our previous M235, and it took a hit. Repaired it, sanded, and sprayed with satin black, and it was like new. I could not have done that with CF. Do I like this Lightweight? Yes. But your milage may differ as they say.

I bought it from EAS and installed it. It wasn't scratched up & is sturdy. I did need to use my neighbors lift to install it. Car is too low for ramps & jack didn't jack up high enough to get under the car with a drill. Wasn't quite as easy as I thought, taking about 3 hours total.
