18 in wheel options

Hey guys, I'm looking to get new wheels for my car but trying to keep the stock wheel size. Do ya'll think waiting and going up to 19s would be a better option? If not what are some options that are spokey such as the zito zf03 (less pricey preferably). Thanks for all the help.

TSW Bathurst in gloss gunmetal

10 spokes, rotary forged, i believe slightly under 19 lbs for 18x8.5 et35

18x8.5 +35 with 235/45 or 245/40 or 255/40 square since you're xdrive. since you have a 440 might as well go 255.

get Michelin Pilot Super Sport or Continental DW as these tires are the lightest.

with this wheel/tire combination, the rears will be lighter than stock and the fronts with 255 will be right at about the same weight as the stock with 225. since the fronts are wider the understeer will be reduced and the car will handle much better.

I think waiting and going up to 19's is worth it. If you're not planning on tracking the car I say 19's are a better choice because they fit really well and aren't too big or too small.

19's
-Niche M147/M146
-Rohana Rc10
-VMR V721

18's
-Enkei Draco's
-Enkei ts-10
-A couple of the 19's from above also come in 18

These are some really nice wheel options! I have been thinking of just holding off for now and going up to the 19s. There may be a very real chance that I dont do anything at all cause the car is a lease, but I have been looking to add some flair to my car.

with 19's then go staggered 19x8.5 w/235/40 up front and 19x9.5 w/265/35 in the rear.

tsw bathurst or rohana rf2. i believe the m5 is on 20's but you get the idea

Perfect, my 440 is white so being able to see them on a white 4 series is great! Any particular for running staggered?

the stagger is merely for looks. depending on the wheel design a typical 19x8.5 will have a flatter face than the same wheel that is wider with a lower offset. you'll notice the M5 has very wide rears which allows for the high concavity, which look better.

i had to "borrow" this photo. rohana rfx5 staggered 19x8.5F/19x9.5R. notice the rear concavity. sal9012's car looks "sick" btw.

the tsw face1 seems to have more concavity than the rohana's face1.

if you want the best handling square is best. you also negate any problem for xdrives, where front and rear tire diameters need to be within 1%.

since the 19x8.5 tsw have more concavity than the rohana due to wheel design. you could do the tsw bathurst 19x8.5 square with 255/35.

there are many other 19" wheels avail. you can check out getyourwheels, need4speedmotorsports, vividracing, etc. when you find one hollaback here and we can give you more advice.
