BMW 400M wheels, what tires?

I'm getting my f30 next week and i'm wondering what dimension of winter tires should i get for 400M wheels?

My 400m wheels are staggered and I run 225/45/18 tires all around in the winter. I've been happy with that setup. The tires are Pirelli Sottozero 3 Non-RFT.

They are staggered style, summer tires are front 225/45 and rear 255/40. So i can put winter 225/45 on rear wheels?

Yes, but the the tires will be stretched.

I would recommend either 235/45 or even 245/45 square to get a bit more sidewall and wheel protection.
