Optimal M Enhanced Audio settings

I posted this somewhere else but thought it's nice if you guys post your settings too

Quote:
i just tried this on my M enhanced audio system:

80: +5 bars
200: +4 bars
500: +3 bars
1K: +7 bars
2K: +3 bars
5K: +5 bars
10K: +8 bars

Bass: +4 ish
Treble: +7 ish
Fader: -5 (to the rear)

it was too much treble so i fixed it to this to my liking:
80: +5 bars
200: +4 bars
500: +3 bars
1K: +3 bars
2K: +3 bars
5K: +5 bars
10K: +8 bars

Bass: +4 ish
Treble: +7 ish
Fader: -4 (to the rear)

i used 'watch dem roll' by sean paul then 'Orion' by metallica to tune in between

Wow... Fader: -4! Does this help with the staging/imaging? Does The enhanced audio system have the option of cutting out the higher frequencies out of the rear speakers? This feature is on a few high end stereos and really helps to set a 3d audio distribution.

Well, this really depends on the music you like and listen to.

For example, for Rock, you wanna go with the "U" pattern. That's high treble and bass with neutral mid tones.

Also, I don't really know the specific case of the M3 and this special audi system, but as a rule of thumb you wanna get the most sound out of the front speakers. (TOWARDS the people) with the subwoofer located anywhere you want, BUT woofers and tweeters should be pointing to the passenger.

As I said I don't know if this "custom made" system for the M3 does anything special in terms of sound delaying or processing.

Hope this helps.
