435d xDrive down on power?
I need some guidance here. We had a loan car 435d x drive gran coupe last year and the power delivery was like lightening. It would just want more and more. Before you knew it you would be in three figure speeds.
Based on that I brought a 435d x drive coupe, used approved but it doesn't feel the same?! Our 320d (F30) feels faster off the mark than my 435d. I have not plugged it into BavTech yet bit it does feela bit down on power. Are there any common faults or something to check? Any thoughts appreciated. |

I would do a simple test of going for a 0-100 and see what figures you get.
If you get in the order of 4.7... you should be fine. For me, the only times it feels a bit down on power is when it goes through the cat. regeneration cycle. The only other thing that would spring to mind is learned adaptive values on your car...

The logs seems to have a slight fluctuation around 2000 RPM. When holding 2000 RPM steady by programme it was actually reading 1700... everything is about 300 less... When I set the parameters to 3000 it was really 2700. The real value vs specified is different - regardless of mode e.g. eco, comfort etc.
No fault codes. Wonder where that 300 RPM is? Engine speed sensor? Going to look into this further but will take me time. Interesting one. No fault code no idea. |
