Passenger ventilation is driving me insane!
So I've only had my M240i a week and there's already something that's really annoying me and I can't for the life of me work out how to fix it, or even if there's isn't a fix as its a fault.
The passenger ventilation isn't showing all 3 bars - by that I mean the vents to the face, middle and feet. It's only showing ventilation to the middle and feet no matter how many times I press it. Driver's side is absolutely fine and I seem to remember them both being fine when I picked it up. Anyone experienced this before and if so, is there a fix or should I take it back to the dealership? Even if there's some way to reset it completely - happy to do this if it rectifies the problem. |

I actually think its supposed to be that way. I currently have a 2014 335 and thats the way it is. I have a M240xi on order and will make delivery in early March. In my 335, the vents controlled by the driver settings are the far driver side and the middle vents. Hope this helps. I have never had any issue w/ cooling or heating the car very well leveraging the vents in a 335. Should be a non-issue.

I asked the same ? with my '15 235 - if you think about it it makes sense - I think it has to do with giving driver complete control of windshield misting ?

Thanks guys, you're both spot on. I put my logical head on and realised there wouldn't be 3 vents so the top one must be the windscreen. Put the 'middle' vent on full blast and lo and behold, it was exactly what I thought the top line should've done!
