From everything I've heard on YouTube and forums the AWE sounds super aggressive and I like it. I did the dinan and it has a very nice note but more subtle. Depends on what you want, if you want it mean go AWE for sure it sounds awesome.

I vote AWE too.

However I have MPE at the moment since car came with it. Getting a Dinan midpipe for $500 shipped since mid pipes are the same. If it's not aggressive enough after midpipe and down pipe I'll swap to the AWE axle back section.

It seems most of you guys voted for AWE, but I would like to know the reasons behind it too ie cost? Sound?

Of all the videos I've seen I like the sound of awe better. Seems more of a growl and aggressive. The akrapovic is more of a high pitched buzz imo

Lots of options for exhaust out there. I actually like the sound of the car with a muffler delete (just have an exhaust shop make a bypass pipe that can be removed and installed with clamps.

My favorite is REMUS but between the 2 options you listed i voted AWE because it sounds better in my opinion

Mike, does the Remus axleback keep the BMW exhaust valve or delete it?

Akrapovic

Hi guys, I purchased my 435 a couple of months ago and I've checking out some exhaust systems for since then. I really liked the akrapovic system but it's just way too expensive brand new. What's the best way to acquire it used or if it's not possible, what alternative exhaust should I go for instead? Thanks

You more than likely will not be finding a used Akra for the B58 anytime soon. If you want a valve, there arent many choices. MPPSK, AFE, Meisterschaft, Remus are the available valved systems. There may be a few more
